We used to stay here a lot when we flew out of trust airport. It was always well maintained, and we always enjoyed our ride and dealing with the staff. This place has gone downhill dramatically. The current management and staff have zero people skills. It took us an hour to check in because they tried to put us in a regular double bed instead of the King executive suite we booked. Upon our return trip, the front desk clerk tried to charge us $15 to pick us up from the airport in the shuttle, even though we had paid $5 per day to park our car there and the shuttle was supposed to be free when we returned. This was definitely our last day at this unfriendly unprofessional dump.

We booked this stay very last minute to join some friends who were camping nearby (there was no way I could get our camping gear ready in time). I was so blown away by this property. I’ve been gushing about it all week, The decor was beautiful, room size was huge, bed and sleeper sofa were super comfortable and the whole place smelled like a spa! We were also pleasantly surprised at how cute and vibrant downtown Elizabethton was on a Saturday night. Would 100% stay again!

We always feel welcome at Mountain Harbour - the breakfast is exceptional, and the hosts are lovely people who go above and beyond for their guests. Thanks for another great stay!

Great location. Easy to walk to everything! Didn't use the loft but it was an interesting feature. Common area was spotless and retro video game machine was fun

For the price, it was a good, clean place to stay...the bathroom in particular was spotless, which I appreciate. However, the room was very basic...tile floor, not well furnished or decorated, quite spartan. Bathroom cabinet was broken, and the shelf for hanging clothes was as crooked as possible without falling down. I was surprised that the facility had received ratings as high as it had. Stil, if you just need a place to sleep, and not be wowed by your surroundings, then yes, I'd recommend it.
